Regis et Jacques Marcon is a family owned restaurant, located in Saing-Bonnet-le-Froid of France. The restaurant is owned by father, Régis Marcon, and his son Jacques Marcon. It has been voted the best restaurant in Europe in the Opinionated About Dining (OAD) ranking of the Top 100+ European Classical Restaurants.
The Marcon's cuisine pays tribute to Mother Nature, as does the superb glazed building. Autumn is their favorite season, when they go out hunting for mushrooms in the thick undergrowth covered in a carpet of ruddy leaves. Marcon’s cooking emphasizes local producs such as local reared meat, green lentils from Puy, regional cheese and hand-picked mushrooms.
